1 bunch of kale (organic if possible)
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 ¼ cup of nutritional yeast
1 tbsp olive oil
Remove the kale from the stem and clean the leaves well. Once cleaned, I lay all of the kale leaves on a tea towel and wring out the extra water from the leaves.
Place clean, dry kale in a big mixing bowl. Pour the lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and olive oil over the kale and massage the ingredients into the kale – I do this step for approximately 2 minutes (will soften the kale a bit)
Place the kale on a dehydrator tray and dehydrate at 115 for about 8 hours (or until the chips reach a crunchiness that you like).
